..so, your video of "big sleep" I saw, is an old video(tilburg 2006).
now you use 2 keyboards.. right?
ps.
and your drummer, I saw hi use "ear monitors", it is for metronome or for monitoring..or both?

David, no pre-recorded patterns are used (except for some percussion loops), but the keyboard is splitted into 4 parts, which are used extensively. So "Big Sleep" for example, is in fact played in 'realtime' .
Having said that, since those live recordings you saw, the setup has been expanded with a second (midi)keyboard, to give me some extra room (e.g. keys) to work with. |
